To call the last few months at Greendeck as "exciting" will be a massive understatement. So much has happened that a single blog post wouldn't cut it. So here I'll just attempt to summarise the highlights here.

We raised our seed roundπŸ’°πŸ™Œ

We closed our seed round of Β£500k in April this year. The round was led by RLC Ventures and saw participation from other major London based VCs like Force Over Mass capital, Ascension ventures, LMarks and Startup Funding Club.

The agenda for us is growth. The greater part of 2018 was spent on our product development and looking to achieve product-market fit. Now we will be pressing the pedal on sales and marketing activities.

Karthik Veluswamy joins us as Chief Commercial OfficerπŸš€

We're delighted to announce that Karthik Veluswamy has joined Greendeck as co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer.

Karthik brings with him a wealth of 15+ years of experience in sales and support. He was an early employee at Freshworks (now a unicorn!) and served as a Global Head of Sales and Pre Sales, helping them grow revenue by 3x within first 2 years.

His extensive background in working with customers and partners in Europe, US and Asia, as well as his hands-on experience setting up the sales, marketing and customer success teams will be invaluable as we continue to grow internationally.(read more)

Launch of Greendeck Version 2.0πŸ”₯

We've done some major enhancements in the Greendeck platform, both in terms of product features and the interface.

The facelift in the UI/UX makes the data visualisations more intuitive, and the platform easier to navigate. Also we've added a rich set of new dashboards that allow our customers to gain deeper insights into pricing, promotions and product catalogues.
